Most of my (unfiltered) iPhone photos show nothing but the usual glowing orb. But this one had some neat optical effects - internal reflections showing the small sickle of sun actually still remaining.

Eclipse as viewed by our solar system

Bar graphs show the energy we received over the course of the (perfectly sunny) day yesterday. The line graph shows the solar energy the panels received on Saturday. Pretty amazing to see the precision of these data with respect to the "ring of fire" solar eclipse on Saturday, which peaked here around 11:50am.

Good big brother

Graydon helped me pick up Kiwi from the veterinary orthopedic surgeon's office and was a super kind "big brother" to his canine sibling.

Post-Op Pup

Kiwi is recovering from "knee" surgery. This was a couple of days after the procedure - her fur has grown back in the last week and she is much more alert and excited to get back to moving around more when she is allowed.

Happy Anniversary to Us

Welp, we weren't actually together on our anniversary but Neal got me some nice earrings and I bought us some flowers to celebrate. This marks 16 years - and we hit 20 years as a couple earlier this month. Still going strong! 💪
