Welp, I got stuck in Norfolk, VA today. Thought I could fly out before storm shut things down, but I thought wrong. About 90 minutes before my flight was supposed to leave, they canceled the remaining flights out of the airport and sent everyone packing. I'm one of the lucky ones with a flight scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. (Here's hoping it goes as scheduled.) In the end, I went back to the rental car garage (You know what? They had been stockpiling cars in anticipation that the airport could shut down and that a lot of people would need cars!), then drove to my rapidly-booked hotel near the airport. Then to Target to grab 24 hours' worth of semi-healthy food that can be eaten cold or cooked in a microwave… and this cute little mug from which I have now transitioned from drinking coffee to drinking wine from a mini bottle also purchased at Target. C'est la vie…!
