Lake weekend

We had lots of things going on at the lake this weekend. Elisabeth finally got to sail and Graydon was so proud to have caught and hauled in a big fish all by himself that he was actually willing to hold it for the photo!

Bye, Maggi!

This morning, Maggi completed one last round of the little routines that make up an au pair's life - made special by her departure just now. We'll miss you, Maggi! Thank you for being a part of our life this last year. Hope you have safe travels home and a good new start there.

Last time she wore this, she kept tripping over the hem. Today, not so much!

Where's Wiley?

Wiley has been having fun with the large "waffle blocks" recently. Today, he built this structure, climbed in through one open square, and asked me to close him in. Then Daddy walked in and this seemingly disembodied little voice said, "Daddy, where am I??" It was pretty funny.

Meanwhile, Graydon was rerouting our internet cabling (with only a small amount of help and direction from Daddy) - and by rerouting, I mean removing the cabling from outdoors and running it from the attic into the wall and through a small hole in the living room wall behind the TV.

coach Eva

Eva was coach for Wiley's soccer practice today and Graydon was assisting :-)
