Amazing!

Finally, after almost nine whole years of refusal, Graydon finally realized that he did, indeed, like peanut butter!!

One last set of skiing photos

These are the ones with the obligatory Lake Tahoe view in the background. We also wouldn't be complete without a photo with "Uncle" Erik, with whom we stayed over the weekend. We also had the opportunity to meet Erik and Katie Jo's newest addition, 8-month-old Grant. Major photo fail on that front - I don't have a single one of him!!

Meanwhile, at home

While the "big kids" (Mami, Daddy, and Graydon) were gone skiing, Nana and Gramps held down the fort at home (with Claudia) - thank you!!

Doom and Terror

Graydon remembered these two runs from our trip two years ago and was super psyched to ski them again today! Note he's still wearing the same jacket; it just fits him a lot better now!

It was a good Day 1 on the slopes at Heavenly!

You can never complain about spring skiing conditions in January... ! The mountain was not crowded at all and we enjoyed our lunch in a quiet section of trees. Graydon even survived his trip down Mott's Canyon - a double black diamond!

Wiley on Bedtime

Neal got a beautiful black wool coat (100% cashmere!) from an estate sale and Portia got a new swim suit from Costco.

Kid in a tub

The kids were quite impressed with the bathtub at the air bnb house.

Freezing Rain

We went skiing in freezing rain one morning and all got completely covered in ice. Graydon's jacket is solid blue. The white lines are where the coating of ice has cracked.

Snow Biking

Daddy rented a snow bike (26 x 4.5" tires!) and rode the mountain biking trails at the ski hill. It turned out to be a lot less scary than I had expected, and definitely a lot of fun!
