A few impressions from Ste Emelie
Our days have been filled with sandbox play, ping pong, swimming, hiking, and, oh yeah, tree trimming!

Little Travelers
We made it to Montreal pretty much without incident. The kids are becoming quite the accomplished travelers.

Happy 4th (a little late)!
So we're a little late in posting these, but we all had a blast at our 4th of July parade, along with the little street fair (with temporary tatoos, free doughnuts, and free watermelon slices!), and our backyard BBQ party afterwards. On its 50th birthday, the Dodge participated in the parade (with the kids riding in the bed throwing candy at the crowd!).

Summer Fun!
The backyard kiddie pool is a great way to beat the heat! And Wiley, who usually refuses to let us take his picture, let alone smile, graced us with the gem in the second photo!

More Wiley at Camp Tanner!
Tante N. reports from the field:
"He asked for the earmuffs and snookie for the white boat, but totally without panic - just a fact for what he needed for the boat ride. What amazed me, is that as soon as we left, he pointed at the water tower and Rocky Point and told me that's where we went yesterday. He liked sailing. He thought it was neat that you could see water on both sides of the boat."
Also, remember (and thanks to) the photographer on all these photos! :)

Wiley at Camp Tanner
Wiley is having a great time at Camp Tanner this week with Nana, Gramps and his visiting Tante Nise. She had this to say:
> Wiley had a really great day at Camp Tanner. In fact, he had so much fun that he told me at 5 pm that he had played too much and was sooooo tired.
>
> Things we did today:
> *had Tante Nise creations at every meal (breakfast burritos, butternut squash pizza, rice cakes with peanut butter sauce). He ate like a hoss.
> *played piano and learned about music books
> *wore ear muffs in the white boat and went exploring for treasures on Rocky Point
> *went swimming twice (and swam to the bouy!)
> *worked a bunch of puzzles
> *learned to pee standing up into the grass
> *watched Bugs Bunny on the Fisher Price movie camera about 60 times
> *rigged up fishing rods
> *caught minnows in the trap
> *picked the garden
> *learned about shadows
>
> He has been a real little chatter box. He's repeatedly had us in stitches.

Potty Pizza Party!!
Well, Wiley did it! After a couple of months of working on it step by step, Wiley has been completely accident-free and dry even overnight for a whole week! So we had his promised pizza party to celebrate tonight. All the kids dig pizza, as you can see. And then, to mark the special evening, we followed that up with a trip to Amy's Ice Cream Shop. They even have a playground in the back (site of the Portia-on-a-cow post a few months back).
