Seen recently at the stop sign near our house

Note not just the (Texas) license plate but also the little chrome decal on the right. 😂

With a name like that, we just had to check it out!

Sunscreen made fun

It’s not like we didn’t bring enough hats…

… but you have to remember to bring them ashore!

Our boat from the “mountain” on Mayreau

How many kids can you fit in a dinghy?

Cheers from “Happy Island!”

My favourite photo

Moonlit spit of beach separating the windy side with breakers from the little inlet where we were moored for the night in Mayreau.

Breakfast cereal with a view

It almost seemed like a regular ol' breakfast scene… except for the gentle swaying of the boat.

Lots of room on a catamaran

One of the nice things about sailing on two hulls is that there is plenty of space for indoor and outdoor dining. Also… Neal and Chris packed nearly identical clothes. Not just the Hawaiian shirts, but also the teal long-sleeved rash guards and khaki shorts… sheesh!

Oh yeah, we did actually sail, too!

All rigged up with nowhere to go?

Graydon did research, brought appropriate gear, and was all ready to catch some BIG fish. Unfortunately, those fish had other ideas… he did hook several but all of them got away.

Girls at the helm

Captain Teresa commanded a crew of three (the other parents) plus six passengers (five kids and a grandma). Here are all the girls sitting with her at the helm. Mami was - of course! - the sanitation engineer, in charge of opening and closing the five (!!) black water valves on the boat at the appropriate time. The dads served as faithful bowmen, waiting on sails, ropes, and anchors as needed.

This sailing thing is kind of cool!

Of course, we were not actually *sailing* at this moment… but who's counting!

Off to Grenada!

This was a few weeks ago, but oh well!
