Mami's organizational kick

We picked up a bunch of plastic tubs at Target, and this was the only way we could fit all of the tubs and Graydon in the cart.

Getting into the family business

Graydon loves playing with water in almost any form. The only thing that makes this particular situation even better is that Mami has to stand there holding the button down.

Grossmama

Look! Granddad is coming up the driveway! Yay!

The spiral slide was a new adventure for Graydon that took the combined efforts of Mami and Grossmama. Daddy just stood around uselessly with the camera in rapid-fire mode. Granddad was probably watching the soccer practice.

The Tower of Babel

Granddad made an irresistibly tall tower of Duplos. Graydon was clearly thrilled.

The whole point of building a tower is to knock it over, right?

The tower has been destroyed (mostly, Graydon cleaned up the foundation shortly after this picture sequence was completed) and Granddad is looking pretty satisfied with himself in the background.

On the other hand, I'll follow you anywhere, Granddad.

We spent some time building and launching water rockets (which really freaked Graydon out the first few times).

Afterwards, we headed over to a small lake in the park where Graydon got to chase a large flock of geese and coots. Eventually, most of them ended up in the lake itself and we had to restrain Graydon to keep him from following.

Grandparents Visit, Part 1

Over the last few weeks, all four of Graydon's grandparents came out to visit (largely in two shifts, but with a couple of days of overlap). As would be expected, he got very spoiled by having them around to play with him all day long!


Can you guess what Graydon is going to do when he gets older? Does he really have choice? Did any of us?


Nana came up with countless new games, most of them including Graydon's ever-present burp clothes in one way or another.
