A for effort

We have done just about everything imaginable to try and kill the hibiscus plant that we inherited from a friend about the time Graydon was born. Despite our best efforts, it somehow managed to still produce a handful of beautiful blooms over the last couple of weeks. The plant itself still looks pretty pathetic...

We finally used up a couple of "pint for a pint" gift coupons at Baskin Robins yesterday evening. (blood for ice cream, in case you were curious.) While we were sitting outside eating our ice cream we saw a fire truck drive by and we decided to follow it back to the fire station (after finishing our ice cream). Max and Graydon spent the better part of an hour running circles around the fire trucks screaming with glee. Bed time got very delayed and Graydon has been a mess today, but he sure had fun at the time.

Pool Time

We took Graydon to the pool again today. He continues to love the water and will kick and flail his arms on command.

8:00!!!

Graydon slept in until 8:00 this morning. He now seems to be ferociously hungry.

Hiking in the Alps

We went hiking in the foothills of the alps today. In case you want to look the area up on a map, the lake you can see in the background is the Tegernsee and we are hiking up over the ridge towards the Schliersee.
